In order to secure your domain name on multiple servers, you need to purchase Additional License(s) for your Digital Certificate.
Once purchased, an Additional License cannot be deleted.
An Additional License is not required for the primary server.
You can purchase up to 20 Additional Licenses per Digital Certificate.
Follow the process mentioned below to purchase Additional License(s) for your Digital Certificate:
- Login to your Control Panel, search for the domain name for which you have purchased this Digital Certificate and proceed to the Order details view. Click here to know how >>
- Click Additional License in the lower toolbar.
- Select the number of Additional Licenses you wish to purchase and click Confirm Purchase.
- Complete the payment formalities.
- Retrieve the parent Digital Certificate and install the same on multiple servers. The number of servers (excluding the primary server) on which the Digital Certificate can secure your domain name will be equal to the total number of Additional Licenses you have purchased for this Digital Certificate.

You can perform any modifications, such as Renewing, Upgrading/Downgrading or Deleting your Live Chat Service package from your Control Panel itself. Follow the steps outlined below to make the modifications you desire –
Login to your Control Panel, search for the Domain Name for which you have purchased the Live Chat Service package and proceed to the Order Details view page. Click here to know how >>
Renew your Live Chat Service
You can Renew your Live Chat Service package at anytime, for a duration ranging from 6 months to 5 years.
- In the Order Details view, click Renew Service button.
- On the next page, select the duration for which you wish to Renew this package, and click Renew Service.
- Then proceed to make the payment and the Renewal would be effected immediately.
Upgrade/Downgrade your Service
At any point in time, you can Upgrade or *Downgrade to any of the other Live Chat Service packages offered by Gossimer, to suit your requirements.
- In the Order details view, click Upgrade/Downgrade button.
- Here, in the Package Details section, select the package to which you wish to Upgrade/Downgrade. Simultaneously, you may choose to extend the duration of your package by selecting a duration from the Renew Service drop-down.
- When you select the new specifications for your Order, you would see the cost of the modification. This is calculated as
([n x Monthly cost of the new package] + Pro-rated cost for the current month) – Credits remaining from the existing package
where, n = duration of the new package in months
Then proceed to pay for the Invoice, if any payment is applicable. The modification would be effected immediately.
IMPORTANT
*On downgrading a package, the surplus funds are not credited to your account – however, they can be immediately utilized to extend the duration of your package.
Delete your Service
If for some reason, you do not wish to continue with the Live Chat Service provided by Gossimer, then you may Delete your Live Chat Service package.
- In the Order Details view, click the Delete Service button.
- Confirm the Deletion of this package.
- On confirming, Deletion would be effective immediately.

There may be cases when Payment or Add Funds transactions performed by your Customers/Sub-Resellers through a Payment Gateway integrated by you, within your Reseller Control Panel, get stuck at the AuthStarted status. You need to review such transactions and approve/decline them manually.

However, if such transactions continue to remain unattended over 90 days, the system would automatically fail them and set the status of these transactions as FailedByCron.

Renewing your package
You can extend the tenure of your Web Hosting package from anywhere between 6 months to 5 years.
- In the Order Details view, click the Renew Service button on the lower toolbar.
- Here, select the duration for which you wish to Renew the Web Hosting package, and click Renew Service.
- Proceed to pay for the Invoice generated for the Renewal.
Upgrading/Downgrading your package
Gossimer allows you complete flexibility with the terms of your Web Hosting package. At any point in time, you can Upgrade or even *Downgrade the parameters of your package to better suit your requirements. To do so,
- In the Order details view, click Upgrade/Downgrade.
- Here, you can modify all the parameters of your Web Hosting package. Simultaneously, you may choose to extend the duration of your package by selecting a duration from the Renew Service drop-down.
- When you select the new specifications for your package, you would see the cost of the modification. This is calculated as
([n x Monthly cost of the new package] + Pro-rated cost for the current month) – Credits remaining from the existing package
where, n = duration of the new package in months
- Then proceed to pay for the Invoice, if any payment is applicable.
IMPORTANT
*On Downgrading a package, the surplus funds are not credited to your account – however, they can be utilized to immediately extend the duration of your package.
Deleting your package
If for some reason, you do not wish to continue with the Web Hosting services provided by Gossimer, then you may Delete your package. Note that, Deletion of this package within 30 days of purchase, entitles you to a full refund of your Cost Price. However, you would not get a refund if you Deleted the package after this period.
- In the Order Details view, click the Delete Service button.
- Here, you would see details of the refund applicable on Deletion, if any. The refund would be given to you in the form of a Credit Note. You would further have to Confirm the Deletion of this package.
IMPORTANT
If you re-order Web Hosting Service for the same domain name or any of its domain aliases, the 30 day refund guarantee will not be applicable to any such new Order.
- On confirming, Deletion would be effective immediately.
IMPORTANT
In order to complete the action in case of Linux Hosting, the Web Server needs to be restarted. Random restarts affect other services running on the Server. In order to avoid this, the Server has been scheduled to restart at intervals of 20 minutes. Hence, each one of the above mentioned actions might take upto 20 minutes for completion.

The validity of an Additional License depends upon the Expiry/Renewal of its parent Digital Certificate.
Additional Licenses for a Digital Certificate are associated with the Certificate Order Number. When a Digital Certificate is Renewed, a new Certificate Order Number will be generated. Hence, existing Additional License(s) can no longer be used. This implies that whenever a Digital Certificate is Renewed, the existing Additional License(s) associated with this Digital Certificate will no longer be valid.
For example, if a Digital Certificate of 2 years duration has a validity of 6 months left and you purchase one or more Additional Licenses for this Digital Certificate, this/these will be 2 year Additional License(s). However, the Additional License(s) will Expire when the parent Digital Certificate Expires or is Renewed. In order to maximize the validity of Additional License(s), the Additional License(s) need to be purchased as soon as the parent Digital Certificate gets issued. For example, if you purchase a Digital Certificate for 2 years, purchasing Additional License(s) as soon as this Digital Certificate gets issued will enable this/these Additional License(s) to be valid to the maximum duration possible.

Gossimer maintains detailed daily logs of traffic visiting your SusperSite and PartnerSite websites. These website statistics are graphically displayed within your SuperSite and PartnerSite Website Statistics Area, for you to analyze traffic trends such as:
- Number of visits and number of unique visitors
- Visits duration and last visits
- Days of week and rush hours (pages, hits, Bandwidth for each hour and day of week)
- Hosts list, last visits and unresolved IP addresses list
- Most viewed, entry and exit pages
- Files type
- OS used (pages, hits, KB for each OS, 35 OS detected)
- Browsers used
- Visits of robots
- Search engines, keyphrases and keywords used to find your site
- HTTP errors (Page Not Found with last referrer, …)
- Number of times your site is added to favorites bookmarks
There are three methods of viewing your SusperSite and PartnerSite Website Statistics:
I. From your Reseller Control Panel
1. Login to your Reseller Admin Control Panel from http://manage.gossimer.biz/reseller.
2. To view your SuperSite Website Statistics, or PartnerSite Website Statistics, go to
Settings -> SuperSite & PartnerSite -> View SuperSite Stats
Settings -> SuperSite & PartnerSite -> View PartnerSite Stats
This will open the respective Statistics Area in a new window.
II. From the Supersite or PartnerSite URL
1. Go to http://<your supersite URL>/admin, or http://<your partnersite URL>/admin, as applicable.
2. Enter the Username and Password to your Reseller Account, and click on Submit.
3. Click on the link Other Misc Functions and then, click on the View Detailed Website Statistics of your SuperSite/PartnerSite link. This will open the respective Statistics Area in a new window.
III. By directly visiting the SuperSite and PartnerSite Website Statistics Area
If you know your Reseller Id (a unique number available in your Reseller Admin Control Panel under Settings -> Primary Profile), then you may visit the following URLs directly:

- When you select the new specifications for your package, you would see the cost of the modification. This is calculated as
extending duration of the current plan
([n x Monthly cost of the new package] + Pro-rated cost for the current month) – Credits remaining from the existing package where, n = duration of the new package in months upgrading to a higher plan and extending duration of the higher plan
([n x Monthly cost of the new package] + Pro-rated cost for the current month + One time setup cost) – Credits remaining from the existing package
where, n = duration of the new package in months
Then proceed to pay for the Invoice. The modification would be effected immediately.
