You may get this error when you execute a Transfer for a Domain Name (except a .EU Domain Name) from another Registrar to Gossimer.
In order to ensure that, an Authorised person is placing this Transfer Request, we send an email to the Administrative Contact of the Domain Name for authorising the transfer. We need to fetch the e-mail address of the Administrative Contact from the Current Whois Record from the Losing Registrar.
If for some reason we are unable to contact the Whois Server of the Current Registrar you will get this message. There are two things you can do at this stage -
1. You would have received an e-mail with instructions on sending a Fax authorisation for these transfers. You can use that fax authorisation to action the transfers.
2. You can simply wait for upto 48 hours. We would attempt to contact your Registrars Whois server for the Administrative contact details every hour for 24 hours, and even try the same manually. In almost all cases we will be able to send the Administrative Contact E-mail within 48 hours.
IMPORTANT
This process would not be applicable for a .EU Domain Name, since the Authorization mail is sent directly from the Registry to the Registrant Contact’s Email Address.

Upon successfully placing a .EU Transfer/Trade Request [that is after you have paid for the same], your domain name’s Transfer/Trade action will initiated. You can easily track the status of your domain name’s Transfer/Trade by following these steps:
1. Login to your Control Panel and search for the domain name for which you have placed the Transfer/Trade request. Click here to read how >>
2. Click on the domain name.
3. Note the Action Requested and the Status of the Action. The various Statuses of a domain name that has not yet been Transferred/Traded are described below -
Initiating Trade Request: Once the Transfer/Trade order has been executed, the status of the Transfer/Trade order is displayed as Initiating Trade Request. This is the stage where the Transfer/Trade request has not yet been forwarded to the Registry by the System.
Trade waiting for Confirmation: Once the System forwards the Transfer/Trade request to the Registry, the status of the Transfer/Trade order is displayed as Trade waiting for Confirmation. In case of a Transfer, the Registry will send an authorization request to the Registrant of the domain name while in case of a Trade, the authorization request is sent to the current as well as the new Registrant. All the concerned parties have to approve the action within 7 days. If the Transfer/Trade is not authorized within 7 days, the authorization need to be provided through a fax to the Registry. The status of the Transfer/Trade will continue to be displayed as Trade waiting for Confirmation throughout this period.
Trade Request Approved: Once the Registrant (in case of a Transfer)/current as well as new Registrant (in case of a Trade) provide the the authorization, the status of the Transfer/Trade will be shown as Trade Request Approved.
Order Locked In Processing: If the domain name is being Transferred from another Registrar, the System will create .EU Contacts having the same information as existed at the old Registrar and associate these Contacts with the Transferred domain name. The System will display the status Order Locked in Processing while all such internal processes are being carried out.

Thus any Domains Registered by you would have the Default Name Servers and the Default Contacts pre-filled and, you will not have to enter the Name Servers every time you Register a Domain Name. Additionally, if suppose for some Domain Name you do not want to use the Default Contacts / Name Servers, then at the time of Registration you have the option of changing them.
To avail these Default Settings, you need to follow the steps mentioned below -
- Login to your Customer Control Panel from http://manage.gossimer.biz/customer.
- In the Control Panel go to Domains -> Domain Registration -> Default Settings.
- Here you can specify
- Up to 4 Default Name Servers

- You need to click on the Edit link next to each Default Contact. A new window will open listing all the Contacts created by you for that specific Contact type (Contact/COOP Contact/UK Contact/EU Contact). You may also search for a Contact by providing the Name of the Contact in the textbox and clicking on Search button. The Advance Search option allows you to search for a Contact by Contact Id, Contact Name, Company Name, Contact Status, Contact creation date.

1. The .EU Registry allows Registration/Renewal of a domain name for only one year. However, Gossimer allows you to place a Registration/Renewal action for multiple years. If you choose to register/renew your .EU domain name for more than one year, then Gossimer will Renew the domain name at its end for the number of years selected. You can be rest assured that once this one year term in completed, Gossimer will Renew your domain name for a further year, until the renewal term you had requested ends.
2. .EU domain names can only contain alphabets a to z, numbers 1 to 9 and hyphens. However, domain names can not have two hyphens in the third place.
3. The eligibility criteria for registering a .EU domain name is as listed below
- Undertakings should have their registered office, central administration or principal place of business within the European Community
- Organisations established within the European Community without prejudice to the application of the national law
- Natural persons residing within the European Community
4. Some names have been blocked or reserved by the European Commission and the Member states -

There may be cases where you wish to transfer your Domain Names away from Gossimer, to another Registrar. The following process will assist you in ensuring a smooth Transfer of your Domain Name to the Registrar of your choice.
IMPORTANT
- In case of a Domain Name Transfer, the Expiry date is updated to 1 year from the date of Transfer and not to 1 year from the date the domain name was set to expire prior to Transfer.
For example, if a Domain Name has the Expiry date as 24 Oct, 2007 and it gets Transferred to another Registrar on 2 Sep, 2007. The new Expiry date will be 2 Sep, 2008 and not 24 Oct, 2008.
- If you have placed Registration/Renewal Order for multiple years and you decide to have the Domain Name Transferred Away from Gossimer to another Registrar, while your Domain Name is still valid for one or more years with respect to the Order you had placed initially, you stand to forfeit the number of years remaining. Also there would be no refund provided for payment made for this unutilized Domain Name validity term.
Examples:
I. Multiple Year Registration
a. You choose to register yourdomain.eu for 4 years on 26-Aug-2006.
b. Gossimer will set the Expiry date of yourdomain.eu as 26-Aug-2010 in our System.
c. Now on 1-Aug-2007, if you decide to have the Domain Name Transferred Away, the new Expiry date after Transfer will be 1-Aug-2008. The three years unutilized in the Domain Name validity term with respect to the 4 years Registration Order placed initially by you will not be considered. Also, there would not be any refund for the payment made by you for the 3 unutilized years.
II. Multiple Year Renewal
a. You choose to renew your-other-domain.eu for 4 years on 26-Aug-2006.
b. Gossimer will set the Expiry date of your-other-domain.eu as 26-Aug-2010 in our System.
Step 1: Check if your Domain Name can be Transferred
Before proceeding with the Transfer you are advised to first check if your Domain Name can be Transferred. Click here to see if your domain name can be Transferred >>
Step 2: Apply for the Transfer at the New Registrar
Once you have determined whether a Domain Name can be transferred, you will need to apply for the Transfer at the Registrar of your choice. Please refer to the New Registrars Transfer Process for the same. They will have certain steps to verify your identity and then place the Transfer Request on your behalf.
Step 3: Respond to confirmation Mail sent from the Registry
In order to ensure that it is indeed an Authorized Person who has placed the Transfer request, the Registrant Contact for the Domain Name will receive an e-mail from the Registry for the Transfer Authorization process, which needs to be approved within 7 days. The Registry provides an additional grace period of 7 days for approval, in case the Transfer was not approved within the initial 7 day period. The authorization can also be provided through a fax to the Registry from the Registrant Contact. The request is processed once the Registry receives approval from the Registrant.

There are various cases where a Domain Name MAY NOT be Transferable to another Registrar. This could happen in the following circumstances:
(a) Domain Name is less than 60 days Old – If the Domain Name you are trying to Transfer is less than 60 days old, the request will get rejected by the Registry itself. Domain Names less than 60 days old are not allowed to be Transferred to any other Registrar as per ICANN Guidelines.
(b) Domain Name has been Transferred less than 60 days ago - A Domain Name cannot be Transferred to another Registrar within 60 days of a previous Transfer. For example, a Domain Name cannot be Transferred from Registrar B to Registrar C, if it has been Transferred to Registrar B from Registrar A within the last 60 days. An exception to this rule is the Transfer back to the previous Registrar in cases where both Registrars so agree and/or where a decision in the dispute resolution process so directs.
(c) You have Locked your Domain Name – If you have Locked your Domain Name from the Control Panel provided by the current Registrar, then a Transfer Request for that Domain Name will not be allowed. You will first have to unlock the Domain Name from the Control Panel and then proceed with a Transfer Request.
(d) Your Registrar has applied a Lock or Hold on your Domain Name – If the current Registrar has applied a Lock or Hold on the Domain Name due to some pending issue, you would be advised to get in touch with their (current Registrar’s) Support Team to resolve this issue, before applying for a Transfer.
(e) If the Domain Name is in the Redemption Grace Period or in the Pending Delete status, the Domain Name can not be Transferred. Click here to know more about Redemption Grace Period and how you can restore your Domain Name (except .UK, .WS and .NAME) from this status >>
IMPORTANT
- If you are trying to Transfer a .EU Domain Name, only condition (e) will be applicable. This is because the .EU Registry does not support any Lock/Suspension feature. There is also no 60 day Registration/Transfer Lock.
- A .UK Domain Name can be Renewed upto 97 days after its Expiry, post which the Domain Name would be automatically Deleted by the .UK Registry. There is no restriction on Transferring a .UK Domain Name during this period. However, you need to ensure that there is sufficient time prior to Deletion, so that the Domain Name can be Renewed with the new Registrar once the Transfer process gets completed successfully. This is because Transfer of a .UK Domain Name does not include one year Renewal. Apart from this, none of conditions listed above apply to the Transfer of a . UK Domain Name. This is because the .UK Registry does not support any Lock/Suspension/60 day Registration or Transfer Lock and there is no concept of a Redemption Grace Period in case of a .UK Domain Name.
- The .WS Registry does not support Transfer of Domain Names between Registrars. Hence, a .WS Domain Name cannot be Transferred under any circumstance.

Before proceeding with the Transfer you are advised to first go check if your Domain Name can be Transferred. Click here to check if your domain name can be transferred >>
IMPORTANT
In case of a .EU Domain Name Transfer, the Expiry date is updated to 1 year from the date of Transfer and not to 1 year from the date the domain name was set to expire prior to Transfer.
For example, if a Domain Name has the Expiry date as 24 Oct, 2007 and it gets Transferred to another Registrar on 2 Sep, 2007. The new Expiry date will be 2 Sep, 2008 and not 24 Oct, 2008.
If you wish to Transfer a .EU Domain Name to Gossimer, then you need to follow the steps mentioned below:
Transfer Process for Customers
1. Login to your Control Panel from http://manage.gossimer.biz/customer.
2. In the Control Panel go to Domains -> Domain Registration -> Transfer. There, enter the Domain Name you wish to Transfer.
3. Select the Registrant Contact for this Domain Name. You may select from the available list of contacts or Add a New Contact.
It is compulsory for you to agree to the associated Product Agreement(s) by selecting the Check Box.
4. In order to avoid any downtime for the website/emails associated with your .EU domain name during the Transfer, it is necessary to mention the Name Servers already in use by your .EU domain name. You may also provide any new Name Servers that you would like to associate your .EU domain name with. Here, it is obvious that all the necessary DNS records are already created on the new Name Servers for the website/emails to be functional.
5. You need to mention any existing Child Name Servers for your .EU domain name alongwith their respective IP Addresses. This is necessary to avoid any downtime for the website/emails associated with any domain name using these Child Name Servers as their Name Servers. If you wish to Register any new Child Name Servers, you may also mention the same alongwith the respective IP Addresses. These new Child Name Servers will be Registered once the domain name is Transferred successfully.
Child Name Servers can also be Registered separately. Click here to know how >>
6. Finally, proceed with the Payment of the Invoice. Click here to read more details on Payment >>.
Now that you have placed the Transfer Order, the Registrant Contact for the Domain Name will receive an e-mail from the Registry for the Transfer Authorization process, which needs to be approved within 7 days. The Registry provides an additional grace period of 7 days for approval, in case the Transfer was not approved within the initial 7 day period. The authorization can also be provided through a fax to the Registry from the Registrant Contact. Template of the confirmation fax is provided below:
Transfer confirmation fax >>
The request is processed once the Registry receives approval from the Registrant.
Transfer Process for Resellers

2. In the Control Panel go to Products -> Domain Registration -> Transfer. There you would have to enter the Domain Name you wish to Transfer.
3. Enter the Username (Email Address) of the Customer, on whose behalf you wish to buy this Service. If the Customer is new, you can Add the Customer, by filling the form given there.
4. Select the Registrant Contact for this Domain Name. You may select from the available list of contacts or Add a New Contact.
It is compulsory for you to agree to the associated Product Agreement(s) by selecting the Check Box.

The .EU domain name Contact management is quite different from other domain names. There is a restriction on modifying the Registrant Contact details in .EU domain names. Click here to familiarize yourself with the uniqueness of various .EU Contacts >>
There is a fee involved in performing either one of the following actions as it constitutes changing the Ownership Identity of a .EU domain name:
- modifying the Company Name or Name (in the absence of a Company Name) of the Registrant Contact, or
- moving a .EU domain name to another Customer
IMPORTANT
If you wish to simply modify the Name of the Registrant Contact (which has a Company Name associated with it) and/or other contact details of the Registrant Contact, then you need to follow another process. Click here to perform this modification >>
Follow the below mentioned process to modify the Company Name or Name (in the absence of a Company Name) of the Registrant Contact of a .EU domain name:
1. Login to your Control Panel and search for the domain name. Click here to find instructions for doing so >>
2. Click on the Domain name in the search results to get to the Order details view.
3. Click on the Modify Company button.
4. At the time of modifying the Company Name or Registrant Name (in the absence of a Company Name) of your .EU domain name, you have two options -
-
You may choose a different Registrant Contact from the list of Registrant Contacts or create an altogether new .EU Registrant Contact by clicking on the Add Eu Registrant Contact link and filling in the details in the form presented.
-
You may move/transfer this Domain Name to another Customer by providing the new Customer ID and Customer Username. After providing these details, click on Proceed button to continue the process.
5. There is a fee involved for performing either of the above mentioned two options and you need to pay for the generated Invoice to complete the ownership modification. Click here for more details on the Payment process >>.
IMPORTANT
It should be noted that modifying the Registrant Company Name or Registrant Name (in the absence of a Company Name) of a .EU Domain Name or moving a .EU Domain Name to another Customer, will Renew the Domain Name for a year from the date of paying for the associated Invoice.
For example, if a .EU Domain Name is Expiring on 30 Oct, 2007 and you modify its Company Name or Registrant Name (in the absence of a Company Name) on 31 Aug, 2007, the Domain Name will be Renewed and the new Expiry date will be 31 Aug, 2008. Of course, there will be charge associated for this Renewal.
Once the process starts, both the Current as well as the New Registrant Contact for the Domain Name will receive an e-mail from the Registry for the Authorization process, which needs to be approved within 7 days. The Registry provides an additional grace period of 7 days for approval, in case the approvals were not received within the initial 7 day period. The authorization can also be provided through a fax to the Registry, from both the Current as well as the New Registrant Contact. Templates of the confirmation fax are provided below:

In order to host a website on your domain name, you will need to obtain the Name Servers from the Web Hosting Company with whom you wish to host your website and point your domain name to these Name Servers.
Follow the steps below to associate Name Servers with your domain name -
- Contact your Web Hosting Company and find out from them the Name Servers you need to use. If you have bought Web Hosting for your domain name through Gossimer, then you need to set the Name Servers as specified by Gossimer. Click here to know how you can view this information >>
- Login to your Control Panel, search for the domain name for which you want to add/modify Name Servers and proceed to the Order Details view. Click here to read how >>
- Click on the Modify Name Server button. Feed in the Name Servers you want (up to 13* Name Servers) and click Submit. If at this step you get an error stating Name Server is not yet registered, then this implies that the Name Server(s) you are submitting has/have not been registered with the Registry. Please contact your Web Hosting Company and ask them to provide Name Servers that are valid and registered with the Registry.
IMPORTANT
- If the domain name is Locked, you will have to first Unlock this domain name before adding/modifying Name Servers. Click here to read how >>
- *.UK domain names support only upto 10 Name Servers. Therefore, you cannot add more than 10 Name Servers for your .UK domain name.
- *.EU domain names support only upto 9 Name Servers. Therefore, you cannot add more than 9 Name Servers for your .EU domain name.
- Upon modifying your domain name’s Name Servers, your website would begin appearing in a web browser, after about 24 to 48 hours (provided your Web Hosting package is properly setup and you have uploaded the content of your website). This is a standard time-frame required for a process called as DNS Propagation to complete Worldwide. This process is not controlled by any one ISP/company and therefore it can not be hastened.
- If you wish to modify/delete a Name Server of a .EU/.UK domain name, which appears to be the Child Name Server of the same .EU/.UK domain name, then you can not do so from this interface. This action is only possible from the Manage Child Name Server interface. Click here to know more about Child Name Servers and how to Modify/Delete one >>ExampleIf you wish to modify/delete the Name Server ns1.yourdomainname.eu of yourdomainname.eu or ns1.yourdomainname.uk of yourdomainname.uk, then you will not be able to do so from this interface. This action is permissible from the Manage Child Name Server interface only.

Once a domain name is deleted, the domain name (except a .UK, .WS and .NAME domain name) would slip into the Redemption Period ONLY under the following circumstances:
- manual deletion of domain name by contacting Gossimer Technical Support
- System deletion of domain name post Expiry of the Renewal Grace Period and the domain name does not have any backorder against it.
In all other cases, a deleted domain name cannot be Renewed/Restored/Redeemed. Click here to find information about our Renewal Grace Period and Domain Name Deletion Policy >>
Redeeming a domain name is costly, time consuming and generally a manual process. The Redemption Period is of 30* days (for most domain name extensions) after the domain name is deleted and during this period, only the current Registrar of the domain name can Redeem the domain name.
If the domain name is not Redeemed during this period, then it would move to the Pending Delete period for 5 days. In this status, the domain name can not be Redeemed and after this period, the domain name would be available for fresh Registration.
IMPORTANT
* The Redemption Grace Period is different for some domain name extensions as stated below:
Procedure for Restoring any Domain Name in Redemption Grace Period (Pending Delete Restorable Status)
1. Login to your Control Panel, search for the domain name you wish to Redeem and proceed to the Order Details view. Click here to know how to do so >>
2. For a domain name under the Redemption Period, you will find a Restore button. You can then move ahead with Redeeming the domain name, by paying for the Invoice so generated. Click here for more details on payment >>
Kindly note that Redemption of a domain name is a lengthy process and hence it would take Gossimer upto 5 working days to Redeem a domain name.
IMPORTANT
- A Restoration action, once completed, cannot be reversed. The only option would be deleting the domain name, in case the same is no longer required. Click here to know how a domain name can be deleted >>
- Redemption of a domain name** (only after deletion by Gossimer System post Expiry of the Renewal Grace Period) includes 1 year Renewal.
- ** Redemption of a .EU domain name will always include one year Renewal. However, Renewal will extend the term from the date on which the domain name is Redeemed and not from the Expiry date existing when the domain name was deleted.

Whenever a particular domain name is not renewed till the Expiry date, it would slip into the Renewal Grace Period. This Renewal Grace Period would be for 40* days (for most domain name extensions). All such domain names would be put on a Temporary Commercial Parking Page, which would indicate that the domain name has Expired. During this period, any website and mails associated with the domain name would become non-functional.
IMPORTANT
* The Renewal Grace Period for domain names under the following extensions vary as mentioned below:
- Renewal Grace Period for .EU Domain Names
The concept of Renewal Grace Period for .EU domain names is slightly different. Every .EU domain name will Expire exactly 1 year from the date of Registration (since the maximum length of registration is only a year). However, the Renewal Grace Period will be only till the second last day of the expiring month (penultimate day of the month), post which the domain name will be deleted. Thus, different .EU domain names may have different Renewal Grace Periods. Lets take a couple of examples to demonstrate this -
-
abc.eu gets Registered on 24 Jul, 2006. This domain name will Expire on 24 Jul, 2007. If abc.eu is not renewed before its Expiry Date ie. 24 Jul, 2007, it would be redirected to a temporary parking page until it is Renewed.
If the domain name is not renewed until the Deletion date, it will be Deleted from our System on 30 Jul, 2007 (since this is the second last day of the expiring month). This domain name will have a Renewal Grace period of 6 days. It will slip into Redemption Grace Period after 31 Jul, 2007.
-
pqr.eu gets Registered on 27 Jul, 2006. This domain name will Expire on 27 Jul, 2007. If pqr.eu is not renewed before its Expiry Date ie. 27 Jul, 2007, it would be redirected to a temporary parking page until it is Renewed.
If the domain name is not renewed until the Deletion date, it will be Deleted from our System on 30 Jul, 2007 (since this is the second last day of the expiring month). This domain name will have a Renewal Grace period of 3 days. It will slip into Redemption Grace Period post 31 Jul, 2007.
-
xyz.eu gets Registered on 31 Jul, 2006 and will Expire on 31 Jul, 2007. If the domain name is not renewed until the Deletion date, it will be Deleted from our System on 30 Jul, 2007 (since this is the second last day of the expiring month) and will not have any Renewal Grace Period. It will slip into Redemption Grace Period post 31 Jul, 2007.
xyz.eu would not be redirected to a temporary parking page since the domain name would be deleted before it actually Expires.
- Renewal Grace Period for .INFO Domain Names
.INFO domain names will have a 15 day Renewal Grace Period.
- Renewal Grace Period for .UK Domain Names Renewal Grace Period in a .UK domain name is quite different from other extensions. Any website/emails associated with a .UK domain name will stop resolving once the domain name Expires.
You may Renew your .UK domain name anytime from 6 months before its Expiry, upto 97 days after its Expiry. If you do not Renew your domain name within 97 days after its Expiry, it would be automatically Deleted by the Registry.
It is important to note that there is no concept of a Redemption Grace Period in case of a .UK domain name.
- Renewal Grace Period for .WS Domain Names A .WS domain name will have a Renewal Grace Period of 30 days. However, to ensure that the current Registrant retains the ownership of the domain name, it is highly recommended that the domain name is renewed before it Expires.
- Renewal Grace Period for Third Level .COM/.NET/.ORG Domain Names Third Level .COM/.NET/.ORG domain names under the extensions -
.EU.COM, .GB.COM, .AE.ORG, .KR.COM, .US.COM, .QC.COM, .DE.COM, .GB.NET, .NO.COM, .HU.COM, .JPN.COM, .UY.COM, .ZA.COM, .BR.COM,
.CN.COM, .SA.COM, .SE.COM, .SE.NET, .UK.COM, .UK.NET, .RU.COM
will have a Renewal Grace Period of 5 days.
When a domain name** Expires, the Registry Auto-Renews it and locks our funds for the same. However, the Auto-Renewal action is not immediate, but is queued up for execution. This often takes up to 48 hours to complete.
IMPORTANT
-
Due to the above process in place, all Expired domain names (except the ones under the extensions listed below) display the Expiry Date one year ahead of the actual date on which the domain name has already Expired, in the Registry Whois -
.BIZ, .US, .UK, .EU, .WS, .EU.COM, .GB.COM, .AE.ORG, .KR.COM, .US.COM, .QC.COM, .DE.COM, .GB.NET, .NO.COM, .HU.COM,
.JPN.COM, .UY.COM, .ZA.COM, .BR.COM, .CN.COM, .SA.COM, .SE.COM, .SE.NET, .UK.COM, .UK.NET, .RU.COM
-
** Domain names under the following extensions will not be Auto-Renewed by the respective Registry once they Expire -
.BIZ, .US, .UK, .EU, .WS, .EU.COM, .GB.COM, .AE.ORG, .KR.COM, .US.COM, .QC.COM, .DE.COM, .GB.NET, .NO.COM, .HU.COM,
.JPN.COM, .UY.COM, .ZA.COM, .BR.COM, .CN.COM, .SA.COM, .SE.COM, .SE.NET, .UK.COM, .UK.NET, .RU.COM
Now, if you were to add another Renewal action, the domain name would get Renewed for an additional year, even though you do not wish it to get Renewed for any more years than you requested.
To avoid this situation, the Parking Action is maintained under process. The domain name would bear the following status at this stage –
Action Requested: Parking of <domain name>
Status of the action: Awaiting update at Registry
Once the execution is completed at the Registry, our system will complete the Parking action and readily Renew your domain name.
After you have Renewed the domain name, it would take around 24-48 hours for DNS propagation to complete World-wide and the actual website to start resolving properly and mails to be received on the domain name.
IMPORTANT
During this DNS propagation period, your website may intermittently revert to the Parking Page and then change again to your actual website, depending on how ISP caches refresh. However, if you have already Renewed your domain name, do not Renew your domain name again. The parking page will automatically get removed as soon as the DNS propagation completes.
If you do not Renew the domain name in the Renewal Grace Period, then the domain name would be Deleted. However, should there be no back-order for the domain name, you would still have the option to Redeem it.

A domain name may be Deleted from our database by 2 methods, explained below -
I. System Deletion
Once a domain name has Expired, it will go to into Renewal Grace Period, where you can Renew this domain name at normal costs. This Renewal Grace Period would be for 40* days (for most domain name extensions). If you do not Renew the domain name in the Renewal Grace Period, then the domain name would be Deleted and the domain name (except a .UK, .WS and .NAME domain name) will go into Redemption Grace Period.
However, should there be no back-order for the domain name, you would still have the option to Redeem it.

II. Manual Deletion

Deleting a domain name will immediately stop all functionalities (like the Website and Mails) associated with the domain name. Also, a domain name explicitly deleted would entitle you to a Refund of the entire amount, and there would be a charge of USD 1.0 for the Deletion.
IMPORTANT
- Domain names under the following extensions cannot be Deleted from within the Control Panel since they do not have a Money Back Period.
