Once you have created a Mailing list, you need to specify the email addresses which would be permitted to post to and receive from the mailing list. These email addresses would be termed as members; every Mailing list can have as many as 500 such members.
Follow the process below to add members to your mailing list:
In the Email management interface, go to Mailing Lists -> List.
The following page bears a list of all Mailing lists associated with your Email Hosting package. Click on the mailing list for which you wish to add members.
In the details view that follows, click on Member List.
On this page, you can enter the member email addresses in the text-box provided. Each email address must be entered on a separate line. You may also enter the member’s name after their email address separated by a space.
Once you have added the members, click on Save Changes.
IMPORTANT
Gossimer allows you to create upto 50 Mailing Lists with each list containing upto 500 members. There is a restriction on the maximum number of members in each mailing list as the server where your website is hosted is a Virtual Hosting Server, where the resources are shared across several Customers. By adding more members to the Mailing list, there are chances of the resources being over-utilized by some customers and others suffering for the lack of the same.

Once you have purchased a web hosting package with Gossimer, you may like to examine the functionality of the website on Gossimer Servers before switching the website off completely from the old server. In such a scenario, since the domain name is still mapped to the old Name Servers, using the domain name to check the functionality from our Servers is not possible. It is also not possible to access your website using the IP Addresses provided to you from our end. This is because the IP Address assigned to you is a Shared IP Address on the Virtual Hosting Server and it is shared by all the websites hosted on that Server.
At the time of configuring a hosting package, the System automatically assigns a Temporary URL (TEMP URL) which can be used to access the website once you have uploaded the content onto our Server. The TEMP URL is assigned in the format of:
<domain name>.yourhostingplan+os.onlyfordemo.com, where
yourhostingplan indicates the Hosting Plan you have purchased (Standard / Premium),
os indicates the Operating System you have purchased the package on.
How to locate your Temporary URL?
You can test the functionality of the website on our Server using this Temporary URL. Once you are satisfied with the performance, you can Modify the Name Servers for the domain name to our Name Servers so that the website can be resolved using the domain name itself. Click here to determine our Name Servers that you need to modify your domain name to, to access your website >>

A self signed certificate does not have the signature of a noted Certificate Authority (CA); instead, it uses its own certificate request as a signature. While it may not provide the same effectiveness as a certificate provided by a trusted CA, this is much easier to procure, and you can use it until you get your actual certificate.
Follow the process mentioned below to generate your own self signed certificate from the Control Panel:
1. Login to your Control Panel and search for the domain name for which you have purchased this hosting package. Click here to read how >>
2. In the search results view, click on the domain name. This will take you to the order details view.
3. Click on Manage Web Hosting Service in the lower toolbar.
4. In the Website Management interface pop-up that follows, go to Manage Website -> SSL Manager.
5. Here, click on the Generate icon.
6. Fill in the form for generating your details.
7. From the drop-down the bottom of the form, select the option Generate CSR + Self Signed Certificate.
8. Click on Generate.
This will generate the certificate for you. In order to view or backup the existing Certificate, click on Download on the subsequent page.
In order to complete the action in case of Linux Hosting, the Web Server needs to be restarted. Random restarts affect other services running on the Server. In order to avoid this, the Server has been scheduled to restart at intervals of 20 minutes. Hence, the process might take upto 20 minutes for completion.

However, images can be linked remotely also. In such cases, the images exist on a totally different host than the one on which the webpage (in which the images are called) exists. The images are linked using absolute URLs, i.e., http://some otherdomainname.com/pictures/pic.2.jpg. This is known as hotlinking. Since the image is requested from a remote server/website, bandwidth allocated for the remote server/website is utilized. If one indulges in such a practice without the approval of the remote server/website owner, this sort of linking can also be termed as bandwidth theft.
To assist you in preventing such abuse, Gossimer, LLC has provided a feature known as Bandwidth Theft Protection with its Linux Hosting Packages. Using this feature, you can prevent images linked to your website to be referenced remotely.
Using the Bandwidth Theft Protection feature
Follow the process mentioned below to enable Bandwidth Theft Protection for your website:
