With Moneybookers, people can send and receive payments through the Internet – all that is needed is an email address. Moneybookers supports domestic funding options in over 30 countries.

To integrate the Moneybookers Credit Card Gateway in your Reseller Account, there is no limitation at Moneybookers about the type of account you should be holding. You can have either of these accounts:

Personal Account – for individual users

Company Account – for legal entities. If you choose to open this account, you would need your company registration number and information for a principal contact at your business. If your business is not registered, we advise you to register as an individual user or contact merchantservices@moneybookers.com for assistance.

IMPORTANT

The applicable Merchant Fees are displayed under Credit Card Payments at http://www.moneybookers.com/app/help.pl?s=m_fees

To accept Credit Cards from your Customers, you would need to apply for this Service by emailing merchantservices@moneybookers.com with the following information:(i) Your website URL.
(ii) A description of your business.
(iii) Your Moneybookers account email address or if you are not yet a customer your country of residence.

25 Aug 10 How to Troubleshoot Delays in Displaying your SuperSite/PartnerSite Pages?

In the event that you notice some delay in displaying content on your SuperSite/PartnerSite, Gossimer allows you to pinpoint the cause for this delay, through a nifty tool. If you are not able to troubleshoot the reason for this lag through this tool, we would request you to forward Gossimer the output of this tool at support@gossimer.com.

Enabling this tool

There are two ways in which you can enable this tool on your SuperSite/PartnerSite:

1. You may enable this tool from your SuperSite/PartnerSite URL by submitting the following URL, and then navigate over to the page that is taking time to load

http://<Your SuperSite URL>/?show_profiler=true
http://<Your PartnerSite URL>/?show_profiler=true

2. You may also visit the page which is taking time to load and enable this tool directly from that page, by submitting the URL, as displayed in the following example -

http://<Your SuperSite URL>/somepage.php?show_profiler=true
http://<Your PartnerSite URL>/somepage.php?show_profiler=true

However if the URL already has some parameters being passed to it through “&”, then you need to enable this tool by submitting the URL as displayed in the following example -

http://<Your SuperSite URL>/somepage.php?action=promos_amp;show_profiler=true
http://<Your PartnerSite URL>/somepage.php?action=promos_amp;show_profiler=true

IMPORTANT

When you enable this tool for your SuperSite/PartnerSite, then the results of this tool are displayed only to you.
Your SuperSite/PartnerSite continues to be displayed normally to other people.

Upon enabling this tool, you would notice results such as the following, at the very bottom of that page -

Disabling this tool

Once you have noted the complete output of this tool (as displayed above), you should disable it. This can be disabled in any one of the following ways:

1. You may disable this tool from your SuperSite/PartnerSite URL

http://<Your SuperSite URL>/?show_profiler=false
http://<Your PartnerSite URL>/?show_profiler=false

2. You can visit any page and disable this tool from that page, by submitting the URL, as displayed in the following example -

http://<Your SuperSite URL>/somepage.php?show_profiler=false
http://<Your PartnerSite URL>/somepage.php?show_profiler=false

However if the URL already has some parameters being passed to it through “&”, then you need to disable this tool by submitting the URL as displayed in the following example -

14 Aug 10 Can I restrict certain people from joining a mailing list?

Depending upon the nature of your Mailing list, you may choose to keep subscription to the list limited, or make the list open for all. To do this, you need to specify the Subscription Preferences for your mailing list. You can allow either

allow anyone to join the list by sending a subscription request, or
allow people to join only with the approval of moderators.

Subscription preferences can be specified at the time of creation of the Mailing list itself. If you wish to modify these at a later time, follow the process below:

1. In the Email management interface, go to Mailing Lists -> List.

2. The following page bears a list of all Mailing lists associated with your Email Hosting package. Click on the mailing list for which you wish to add members.

3. In the details view that follows, click on Modify.

4. On this page, you can set your subscription preference towards the bottom of the form. Select the radio button against the option of your choice.

5. Click on Submit.

13 Aug 10 Changing your Control Panel Password

You can easily modify your Customer Control Panel Password by following this process:

1. Login to your Customer Control Panel from http://manage.gossimer.biz/customer.

2. In your Control Panel go to Settings -> Change Password.

3. Mention the following details and save the changes by clicking the Confirm Password button.

a. Old Password – You need to mention here the password that you just used to login into Customer Control Panel.

b. New Password – Enter any new Password that you may easily remember, of minimum 6 characters. This Password should preferably be a mix of alphabets, numbers and special characters, to ensure that unauthorized people can not guess your password.

c. Confirm Password – Enter the same Password you set as your New Password. This is needed to ensure that you remember the new password you mentioned in the above field.

This new password would be effective the next time you login.
