<p align="left"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;">Restoring your database is as easy as backing it up.  If you would like to rewrite the backup over an existing database, follow the  process listed below:</span></p>

<p align="left"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;">This will drop all existing tables in the  database. Then head over to the top menu bar and click on SQL. This will bring  up a window where you can either type in SQL commands, or upload your SQL file. </span></p>

<p align="left"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;">Restoring your MySQL Database from within the  Control Panel</span></strong></p>
<p align="left"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;">You can restore a MYSQL database from within  the </span><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Gossimer <span style="font-size: x-small;">Hosting Control Panel. Please follow the steps explained below:</span></span></p>
<p align="left"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;">1. <p align="left"><span class="description" style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;">3. Click on <em>Manage  Web Hosting Service</em> in the lower toolbar.</span></p>
<p align="left"><span class="description" style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;">4. In the Website  Management interface pop-up that follows, go to <em>Manage Website -&gt; Database  Manager -&gt; Backup/Restore Database</em><strong>.</strong></span></p>
<p align="left"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;">5. Select the radio button <em>Restore Database</em>.</span></p>
<p align="left"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;">6. Select the database from the dropdown menu  next to <em>Select Database</em>.</span></p>
<p align="left"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;">7. Specify the exact location and filename of  the backup file in the </span> <span class="form_sub_section_label_text" style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><em>File  to Restore</em> field</span>. </span><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">You can  select the backup which was saved on the server in a </span> <span class="form_sub_section_label_text" style="font-size: x-small;">specified  	directory or you can upload a .sql backup file onto a  	directory within your website and select it from the list.</span></span></p>
